Over the merry month of December, members of North Tyneside Youth Theatre, Live Lines, Washington, Turrets and Jackass youth theatres came together to engage in fierce bouts of daftness, all with one aim in mind: to be the Youth Theatresports champions of 2004. Working alongside a host of seasoned Improvisation professionals including the legendary Bev Fox and the incendiary Ian McLaughlin from the Improvisation Foundation, the teams battled it out - in the nicest possible way - for one night only at the Washington Arts Centre….. AND WHAT A RESULT!!!!
North Tyneside Youth Theatre came in at an extremely respectable second place. WELL DONE FOLKS!!
Both the team and the loyal supporters really did us proud in representing our youth theatre. Their support of the other youth theatres was brilliant, and their infectious energy went towards making the whole event a great success.
