| Using
child-size puppets, movement, shadow-puppetry and projected filmic representation,
the show jumped to a lively pre-recorded soundtrack interspersed with voice-overs
narrating Jago’s train of thought and relaying what he sees at different
points throughout his journey. Physical theatre specialist, Pady O’Conor delivered puppetry sessions for the facilitators so that they could interpret the skills and deliver to the participants with their own style and focus. Puppeteer Alison McGowan worked with the participants to create and operate their own shadow puppets. Multi-media designer Kate Sweeney and film-maker Paula Penman made a filmic backdrop to the piece and Time Studio worked with one of our ‘Jagos’ to pre-record his ‘inner’ voice.
